R.I.P

This is our beloved horse Yeller that Jade raised he has been our favorite horse we love him like a member of the family, Jade has competed on him for the last 9 years they made a great team.

a few weeks ago Yeller had a heart attack and died. Luckily Jade wasn't using him because he is a heel horse and Jade has been Heading this year. Jade had just bought a new head horse 1 week before Yeller died so I think that made it a little easier when he died. Not to worry bad luck once strikes again, last week we were at the rodeo in Logan and Jades new horse that he just bought coliced and died. Although we had no emotional attachment to this horse it was still a tramatic experience for us we tried all through the night to keep him alive but he kept getting worse so we had to put him down, we didn't even own him long enough to get a picture. grrr for bad luck!

Jade entered one rodeo (Vernal) heeling this year on Yeller and Won it and it is one of the biggest rodeos in Utah so Jade was happy to get one good last memory!

I Love my Boys!!!

For our Anniversary this year I told Jade he had to plan it so I figured we wouldn't do any thing or I would plan for us to go to Park City just like the past 4 years. But he actually had a fun plan he rented us a little cabin in Flaming Gorge it was so fun I would recommend it for any family!

We fished, had a fire, had smores, and toured around the area.

the only down fall was there were no TVs I had our travel TV but the only movies we had were Barney. but we survived without TV and had a blast!

Outside the restaurant they had these bird and chipmunk feeders Briten LOVED to watch the animals!

We didn't fish a ton but what we did we didn't even get a bite!

The Red Canyon Lodge had a little shed full of chopped fire wood that you can just help yourself to each cabin has a fire pit outside and a wood stove inside.

We had a busy exhausting forth of July weekend lots of rodeos and late night drives so on the 4th we didn't do anything we were so lazy! But on the 5th we decided to pack a picnic and load up the four wheeler and go on the mountain.

We found this cool cave that Jade went through me and Briten didn't go because you had to cross a river on a tiny log.

We were still worn out from the weekend so we caught a little shut eye!

Briten LOVE LOVE LOVES the outdoors and I cant blame him.

I had such a fun time with my boys I feel so blessed to call them mine!

Its been awhile!

I have been horrible at taking pics lately so here are a few from the last couple of months!

Jazz Game

Saturday night we were invited by the Richard family to join them in there suite at the game. It was super fun!! And I'm pretty sure I had the cutest Jazz fan there!

Britens Birthday!!!

Yesterday was Britens 1st Birthday!!

but we celebrated on Sunday we had a fun fun party Briten was a little grumpy for 1 thing he started getting teethe finally and for another he missed a few naps with all the excitement but it was still a great party. Thanks all who helped celebrate!

Me and Jade gave him a slide and a wheeler and he loves them both!

which makes me very happy because I wasn't sure what to get him.

He also got spoiled by all his friends and pretty much plays with everything he got!

He was pretty sugared out and tired by cake time because we had doughnuts for breakfast and I let him have his very, own plus all the Grandmas and Aunts & Uncles sneaking treats but he still loved it.

I'm not even going to try to express the amount of love we have for Briten because I know it isn't possible to even to justice to what is in my heart. I will just say this last year has been the best yet, by far!!!!!

Comb Wash

This last weekend we went camping down to Comb Wash. It is down near Blanding I have been going camping there ever since I was little, but I hadn't been for a long time it is my FAVORITE place to camp. There are Indian ruins everywhere and we ride our horses to some that not very many people have been to, we didn't go to those ones this time because it is just to long of a ride for the little kids but there is broken pieces of pottery all over and arrowheads if your lucky. Briten was such a trooper we went on a 4.5 hour horse ride and he didn't even fuss once he did so good! enjoy some pictures from our trip.

Fun Times

This weekend we went to a rodeo in Ogden Jade was up Friday night and Saturday morning so we unwinterized the trailer so we could stay in it. We love to stay in the trailer so that was fun then on Saturday we decided to stop at the Zoo on our way home it was so fun the animals were all out I think we saw everything. Briten loved the animals there were a few times we would walk away and he pointed and kinda fussed until we went back and let him see them a little longer.

It was Jades 26th Birthday I had fun plans but they got ruined by his city league basket ball tournament. (I was really pissed).

my parents gave him money to get a massage which we didn't get because of b-ball

all in all it was a great Birthday!!

Disney on Ice

Me, Briten, Amanda, Addie, Ky, Lotti, Cotter & Rhenn all went to see Disney on Ice it was super fun! I wore really uncomfortable boots and ended up walking around SLC in my socks other than that idiotic move by me we had a blast. Briten didn't blink the first 20 minuets he was so into the Cars it was really cute and all the other kids didn't hardly wiggle they LOVED IT!
